1. Introduction

Welcome to QuranJourney.net (“we,” “us,” “our,” or “the Academy”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website located at quranjourney.net and the online Quran education services provided through it.

By accessing our website, registering for a free trial, or enrolling in any of our courses, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our services.

2. Services Provided

QuranJourney.net is an online Quran education academy offering the following courses:

Nazara Quran – Quran recitation with proper Tajweed and pronunciation
Hifz ul Quran – Quran memorization program
Dars e Quran – Quran translation, Tafsir, and practical guidance
Dars e Hadith – Study of authentic Hadith with translation and explanation

All classes are conducted one-on-one via live video sessions with certified male and female tutors. Classes are available in English, Urdu, and Arabic (and upon request, Pashto and Punjabi).

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to register and enter into a binding agreement with us.
If you are enrolling a minor (under 18), a parent or legal guardian must register on their behalf and is responsible for ensuring the minor’s compliance with these Terms.
By registering, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and complete.

4. Free Trial Classes

4.1 Trial Offer

We offer a 1-week (7-day) free trial for new students to experience our teaching quality before committing to a paid subscription.

4.2 Trial Conditions

The free trial is available once per student/household.
Trial classes are 30 minutes per session, conducted one-on-one with an assigned tutor.
The trial schedule is determined by mutual agreement between the student and the Academy.
We reserve the right to limit trial availability based on tutor schedules and demand.

4.3 Post-Trial

After the trial period, you may choose to enroll in a paid monthly plan.
If you do not wish to continue, no further action is required — the trial simply ends.
We may contact you via email or WhatsApp to inquire about your experience and offer enrollment options.

5. Enrollment & Subscription

5.1 Monthly Subscription

Paid courses operate on a monthly subscription basis. By enrolling, you agree to pay the applicable monthly fee for your region and student count.

5.2 Class Frequency

Standard enrollment includes 4 classes per week (unless otherwise agreed).
Each class is 30 minutes in duration.
Class timings are fixed weekly but can be rescheduled with 24 hours’ prior notice.

5.3 Multiple Students (Family Plans)

Discounted rates apply when 2, 3, or 4 students from the same household enroll together. Each student receives individual one-on-one classes with their own dedicated tutor.

6. Fees & Payment

6.1 Pricing

Pricing varies by region:

All prices are in local currency (except Canada/Australia/NZ which are in USD) and are subject to change with 30 days’ notice.

6.2 Payment Methods

We accept payments via:

Bank Transfer
Wise (TransferWise)
PayPal
Western Union
Other methods as agreed upon registration

6.3 Payment Schedule

Monthly fees are due in advance at the start of each billing cycle.
Payment reminders will be sent via email/WhatsApp 3 days before the due date.
Classes will commence only after payment confirmation.

6.4 Late Payments

If payment is not received within 7 days of the due date, classes will be temporarily suspended.
Accounts with outstanding balances exceeding 30 days may be terminated without notice.

7. Cancellation & Refund Policy

7.1 Cancellation by Student

You may cancel your subscription at any time by emailing info@quranjourney.net or contacting us via WhatsApp.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
No refunds are provided for partial months or unused classes within a paid period.

7.2 Cancellation by Academy

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate services if:
Payment is not received
The student violates these Terms
The student engages in abusive, disrespectful, or inappropriate behavior toward tutors or staff
Technical or operational circumstances prevent service delivery

7.3 Refund Exceptions

Refunds may be considered in the following cases:

Duplicate payment (accidental double charge)
Service failure due to Academy’s technical issues (e.g., tutor no-show for multiple classes without rescheduling)
Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the issue and will be evaluated case-by-case.

8. Class Scheduling & Attendance

8.1 Fixed Timings

Class timings are set at enrollment and remain consistent weekly.
Off Days:
Europe students: Sunday off
USA & Canada students: Saturday and Sunday off
Other regions: Classes available 7 days a week (subject to tutor availability)

8.2 Rescheduling

You may reschedule a class with at least 24 hours’ notice.
Same-day rescheduling requests are subject to tutor availability and may not be accommodated.
Missed classes without prior notice are considered forfeited and will not be refunded or rescheduled.

8.3 Tutor Changes

If you are unsatisfied with your assigned tutor, you may request a change at any time by contacting our support team.
We will make every effort to assign a new tutor within 48 hours.

9. Student Responsibilities

By enrolling, you agree to:

Attend classes on time and be prepared with required materials (Quran, notebook, etc.)
Maintain a quiet, distraction-free environment during class
Ensure a stable internet connection and functioning audio/video equipment
Treat tutors and staff with respect and courtesy at all times
Dress modestly and appropriately during video sessions
Not record, screenshot, or distribute class sessions without written permission
Not share login credentials or account access with third parties

10. Academy Responsibilities

We commit to:

Providing qualified, certified tutors for all courses
Maintaining a safe, respectful, and professional learning environment
Offering flexible scheduling to accommodate different time zones
Issuing a certificate of completion upon successful course completion
Responding to student/parent inquiries within 24 hours
Protecting your personal information per our Privacy Policy

11. Certificates

Certificates are issued upon successful completion of a course, as determined by the assigned tutor and academic evaluation.
Certificates are provided in digital format (PDF) by default.
Printed certificates can be mailed upon request (shipping charges may apply for international delivery).
Certificates are non-transferable and issued in the student’s registered name only.

12. Intellectual Property

All course materials, curriculum, teaching methods, and content provided by QuranJourney.net are the intellectual property of the Academy.
Students may use materials for personal learning purposes only.
Reproduction, distribution, or commercial use of our materials without written permission is strictly prohibited.
The QuranJourney.net name, logo, and brand elements are proprietary and may not be used without authorization.

13. Privacy & Data Protection

We collect personal information (name, email, phone, address, etc.) solely for the purpose of providing our services.
Your data is never sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
We use secure systems to protect your information but cannot guarantee absolute security against all cyber threats.

14. Technical Requirements

To participate in our online classes, you need:

A device with internet access (computer, laptop, tablet, or smartphone)
A working camera and microphone
Video calling software (Zoom, Skype, or Google Meet — as directed by your tutor)
A stable internet connection (minimum 2 Mbps recommended)

We are not responsible for class disruptions caused by your technical issues, internet outages, or power failures.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

QuranJourney.net is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services.
Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
We are not responsible for losses due to force majeure events (natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, internet outages, etc.).

16. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation between you and the Academy.
If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in Lahore, Pakistan, in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
The language of arbitration shall be English.

17. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time.
Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date.
Material changes will be communicated via email at least 14 days before taking effect.
Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

18. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Pakistan. Any legal proceedings shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan.

19. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

20. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and QuranJourney.net regarding your use of our services, superseding any prior agreements or understandings.
