This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds may be issued, the process for requesting a refund, and the conditions that apply.
By enrolling in any of our courses or making a payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Refund Policy. This policy forms part of our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

2. Free Trial Policy
2.1 No Payment Required
Our 1-week (7-day) free trial is completely free of charge. No payment information is required to start the trial, and therefore no refund process applies to trial classes.
2.2 Trial Limitations
- The free trial is available once per student/household.
- Trial classes are 30 minutes each, conducted one-on-one with an assigned tutor.
- After the trial period, you may choose to enroll in a paid monthly subscription or discontinue without any obligation.
2.3 Post-Trial Enrollment
If you decide to enroll after the trial, your paid subscription begins only after payment is received and confirmed.
3. Subscription & Payment Structure
3.1 Monthly Billing Cycle
- All paid courses operate on a monthly subscription basis.
- Payments are due in advance at the start of each billing cycle.
- The billing cycle runs for 30 days from the date of payment.

3.3 Class Frequency
- Standard enrollment includes 4 classes per week (unless otherwise agreed).
- Each class is 30 minutes in duration.
- Off Days:
- Europe students: Sunday off
- USA & Canada students: Saturday and Sunday off
- Other regions: 7 days a week (subject to tutor availability)
4. General Refund Policy (No Refunds)
4.1 Standard Policy
As a general rule, all subscription payments are non-refundable. Once payment is received and classes have commenced, refunds are not provided for:
- Partial months or unused classes within a paid billing cycle
- Dissatisfaction with the course content or teaching style (unless covered under exceptions below)
- Personal reasons such as schedule changes, travel, illness, or loss of interest
- Failure to attend scheduled classes without prior notice
- Technical issues on the student’s side (internet, device, power outages)
- Change of mind after enrollment
4.2 Rationale
Our pricing is structured to provide affordable, high-quality education. Since tutors are allocated and schedules are reserved in advance, we cannot offer refunds for unused classes or partial months.
5. Exceptions: When Refunds ARE Provided
We understand that exceptional circumstances arise. Refunds may be considered in the following situations:
5.1 Duplicate or Overpayment
If you accidentally pay twice or overpay due to a technical error:
- Full refund of the duplicate/excess amount will be issued.
- You must notify us within 7 days of the overpayment.
- Provide proof of both transactions (receipts, bank statements).
5.2 Academy Service Failure
If we fail to deliver the agreed-upon service due to our internal issues:
- Tutor no-shows for multiple classes without rescheduling (3+ consecutive missed classes)

- Unannounced tutor departure without a replacement provided within 7 days
- Refund amount: Pro-rata refund for undelivered classes, or full month refund in severe cases.
5.3 Quality of Service Issues
If you experience consistent quality issues that we fail to resolve:
- Repeated scheduling errors by the Academy (wrong time, missed reminders)
- Unprofessional tutor behavior (rudeness, unpreparedness, inappropriate conduct)
- Failure to provide a replacement tutor after a valid request
- Refund amount: Evaluated case-by-case, typically pro-rata for affected period.
5.4 Technical Failures (Academy Side)
If classes cannot be conducted due to our technical problems:
- Platform downtime during scheduled class times
- Video conferencing system failures (Zoom/Skype outages on our end)
- Refund or make-up classes will be offered for each affected session.
5.5 Medical Emergencies
In cases of serious medical emergencies (student or immediate family member):
- Documentation required: Medical certificate or hospital records
- Refund or credit may be issued for the remaining unused portion of the month
- Evaluated on a case-by-case basis with compassion and understanding
5.6 Bereavement
In the unfortunate event of the death of a student or immediate family member:
- Full refund of the current month’s unused classes
- Documentation required: Death certificate or obituary
- No questions asked—our sincere condolences during this difficult time
5.7 Relocation to Unsupported Regions
If you relocate to a country where we cannot provide service (due to sanctions, payment restrictions, or lack of tutors in your language):
- Pro-rata refund for the unused portion of the current month
- Documentation required: Proof of relocation (visa, residency permit, etc.)
6. Class Cancellations & Make-Up Policy
6.1 Student-Initiated Cancellations
- You may cancel a class with at least 24 hours’ prior notice.
- Cancelled classes with proper notice may be rescheduled within the same billing cycle (subject to tutor availability).
- No refunds for cancelled classes—only rescheduling options.
6.2 Late Cancellations
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled class time are considered late cancellations.
- Late cancellations are forfeited and cannot be rescheduled or refunded.
6.3 No-Show Policy
- If you do not attend a scheduled class without prior notice, it is considered a no-show.
- No-shows are forfeited and cannot be rescheduled or refunded.
- Repeated no-shows (3+ in a month) may result in account suspension.
6.4 Tutor-Initiated Cancellations
- If a tutor cancels a class, we will:
- Provide at least 12 hours’ notice when possible
- Offer a make-up class at a mutually convenient time
- If no make-up is possible, issue a pro-rata credit for the missed class
6.5 Make-Up Classes
- Make-up classes are offered within the same billing cycle.
- Make-up classes cannot be carried over to the next month.
- Make-up classes are subject to tutor availability.
7. Tutor Changes & Refunds
7.1 Requesting a Tutor Change
- You may request a different tutor at any time by contacting info@quranjourney.net.
- We will assign a new tutor within 48 hours of your request.
7.2 Refund During Tutor Transition
- If there is a delay of more than 7 days in assigning a replacement tutor, you may request a pro-rata refund for the delayed period.
- If you are dissatisfied with the new tutor and we cannot find a suitable replacement, you may request a full refund for the current month.
7.3 Student-Initiated Frequent Changes
- If you request multiple tutor changes (3+ in a single month) without valid cause, we reserve the right to:
- Limit further changes
- Suggest a temporary pause in enrollment
- Terminate the subscription with a pro-rata refund
8. Payment Disputes & Chargebacks
8.1 Dispute Resolution Process
If you believe a charge was made in error:

- We will investigate and respond within 5 business days.
- If the charge was indeed an error, we will issue a full refund immediately.
8.2 Chargebacks
- If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute through your bank or payment provider without first contacting us:

- Future enrollment may be permanently restricted.

- Promotional codes are non-transferable and cannot be reinstated after a refund.
11.4 Family Plans
- If one student in a family plan withdraws:
